Ekushey 2.2c Click for a screenshot A fully featured Bengali/Assamese Typing system, compatible with a lot of the legacy typing systems in use in Bangladesh and some of the Indian ones - distributed on an altruistic basis. It is described in detail on its own homepage.

Area Pentis 0.75 Click for larger screenshot areapt75.zip (236k) - Executable, includes VBRUN300.DLL - More fun and less frantic than tetris, this is a variation on the theme - good for developing spatial awareness - get horizontal and/or vertical lines in this version without gravity. VB3 source (17k) is also available. (80 hours work) Runs under Win3x/Win9x/Win2000/XP/WINE.
Ant for DOS 1.1 Click for larger screenshot ant4dos.exe (67k) - Executable - An simulation of the cellular automaton known as Langton's Ant. Also supports Mono/CGA/EGA/VGA displays for use on older PCs, via command line arguments. Q Basic Source (29k) also available.
Runs under DOS/Win3x/Win9x/Win2000, not XP/WINE :-(. (120 hours work)

Easily add or remove all the Word toolbars at once, retrieve lost Word toolbars, view and edit macro project items and properties that are otherwise laborious to access such as command bars, Character ID, keypress ID's, keybindings, control tips etc.

WinLight 1.0   winlight.zip (5k) - Executable and VB6 source - A trivial program that whites out the screen. I wrote it in Bangladesh because the power was very intermittent when I was there and it was easier to use the laptop as a torch than to find one!

Cash Counter 1.0 Screenshot ccounter.zip (5k) - Executable and VB6 source - A program for anyone who regularly counts cash. Calculates the total from a list of denominations.

xTyper 1.0.0.1 Screenshot xtyper10.zip (7k) - Executable and VB6 source - A simple program to assist the typing of German and Danish. Copies the characters to clipboard - like a very cutdown 'charmap'.

CHOtalk 1.0 Screenshot chtalk10.zip (7k) - Executable and VB6 source - An easy to use program to assist communication with the deaf. Much faster to start up than a word processor, and able to display much bigger characters than notepad.

Word HTML 1.0 Screenshot wdhtml10.exe (17k) - An add-in for MS Word that converts files in .DOC format to simple HTML by adding <B>, <I>, <U>, <BR> and <P> tags, making pages which load much faster and than ones produced by 'File/Save As'. Requires MS-Word 97/2000/XP (8 hours work)
